10-Day Daily Program
Terms & Conditions
1. Permit Procedures & Documentation
Due to the proximity of the hiking routes to the national borders, special permits from the State Border Service are mandatory. Participants must provide a high-quality scan of the first page of their passports at least 20 days prior to the departure date. Late submissions may result in the denial of access to the National Park.
2. Safety & Weather Policy
The safety of our guests is our absolute priority. The lead guide reserves the right to modify, shorten, or cancel the itinerary/ascent at any time due to:
- Unfavorable weather conditions or natural hazards.
- Physical or health limitations of the participants.
- Security instructions provided by the National Park or Border Service.
3. Group Logistics & Support
- Guide Ratio: To ensure personalized attention and safety, one professional mountain guide is assigned for every 6–7 participants.
- Porterage: Pack horses are provided for group gear and personal belongings. One horse is allocated per 4 participants.
- Partner Terms: Full logistical support and services are complimentary for the official group leader representing the partner agency.
4. Accommodation
- Hotel stays in Baku are based on twin-room sharing. Single supplements are available upon request for an additional fee.
- Mountain accommodation (Khinalig) consists of traditional local guest houses to provide an authentic experience; facilities are communal.
5. Insurance
Comprehensive Medical Travel Insurance is included in the package. However, participants are encouraged to ensure their personal insurance covers high-altitude trekking (up to 4,500m).
6. Dietary Requirements & Allergies
Participants with specific dietary preferences (e.g., Vegan, Vegetarian) or severe food allergies must inform Mountain Host Azerbaijan at least 14 days before the tour starts. While we strive to accommodate all dietary needs, especially in remote areas like Khinalig, prior notice is essential to ensure suitable meal planning and ingredient availability.
